Bonuses and promotions at Velbet

Every offer on this page has two halves: what you receive, and what has to happen before it becomes money you can withdraw. The first half is the headline, the second half is the terms. What follows is the machinery behind all of them, so that the cards above read the way the system actually enforces them.

The welcome bonus

The welcome offer matches part of your first deposit and adds it to your balance as bonus funds. The exact percentage and the ceiling appear on the card above, because they are set per brand and can change. Bonus funds are real money to play with, but they are tagged: they cannot be withdrawn until the wagering is done, and they are always spent after your own deposit, never before it.

What wagering actually means

Wagering is the one number that decides whether a bonus is worth taking. A requirement of thirty times means the bonus amount has to be staked thirty times over before it turns into a withdrawable balance — staked, not won. Every qualifying round adds its stake to the counter whether it wins or loses. The counter, and how much of it is left, is visible in your account at any moment.

Which games count

Not every game moves the counter at the same speed. Slots usually count in full. Table games, video poker and live dealer tables normally count at a reduced rate or not at all, because their house edge is far lower and they would otherwise be a way to clear a bonus almost without risk. The contribution table is part of the terms of each offer — read it before you choose where to play.

Free spins

Free spins are rounds on a named slot at a fixed stake, paid for by the brand. What they return is usually credited as bonus funds carrying their own wagering, not as cash — which is why two offers with the same number of spins can be worth very different amounts. The stake per spin, the game they run on and the expiry date are all listed with the offer.

Cashback

Cashback returns a share of your net losses over a period, usually a week. It is calculated on losses rather than on turnover, and it is paid once the period closes. It is generally the cleanest kind of offer, because in most cases it arrives with little or no wagering attached. The card says which applies here — that one line is the difference between a nice offer and a real one.

The VIP programme

VIP levels reward steady play rather than a single large deposit. Progress follows the volume you put through, and each level unlocks its own benefits: better cashback, faster withdrawals, a personal contact. Your current level and the distance to the next one are shown in your account, and a level does not disappear the moment you stop playing for a while.

Claiming and following an offer

Most offers attach themselves when you deposit; a few need a code, and the card says so. Once a bonus is active it appears in your account with its amount, the wagering still to go and the expiry date. Only one bonus runs at a time — a new one waits until the current one is finished or removed, so nothing is lost by claiming in order.

The small print that matters

Three things catch people out. A bonus has an expiry date, and wagering not completed by then is lost with it. While a bonus is running there is a maximum stake per round — a bet above it is rejected rather than quietly accepted, and the message tells you the range you can play in. And offers are one per person, household, device and payment method. Accounts are for players aged 18 and over.
